HEN WEN the old and white was the sow of Dallwyr Dallben. She was chased by the sorcerer Coll ap Collfrewy across Prydain before farrowing several beasts, including the Cath Palug cat of "Pa gwr". She also gave birth to an eagle and a wolf. This is recounted in detail in Triad 26: The Three Powerful Swineherds of the Isle of Britain.
